🖐️ Friday 5: a New Soup Recipe, Cucumber Salads, Planting & a New Class! 🤓
🌱 Cucumber salads are hot right now, plus garden updates, and a new project reveal.
This week’s Friday 5 has a little bit of everything—easy recipes I make on repeat, spring garden updates, and a sneak peek at something big I’ve been working on for content creators and experts (hint: work smarter, not harder 💡).
What’s Inside:
✅ My top cucumber salad recipes for spring & summer
✅ A cozy roasted soup you’ll want to batch and freeze
✅ What I’m planting right now—and what to plant from starts or seeds
✅ A quick read to help you balance your blood sugar
✅ A few details for my upcoming content strategy class for entrepreneurs & coaches 👀
Let’s get into it!
1. Eating: Lots of Cucumber Salads
Cucumber salads are all the rage right now on social. I put together 8 of my favorite cucumber salad recipes—from creamy to sweet to Asian-inspired.
Putting this roundup together was fun—I’ve eaten a lot of cucumber salads over the last few weeks, and they all hit! These are quick, refreshing, and perfect for a snack or to accompany lunch or dinner.

2. Making: A Refreshing Yet Cozy Soup for Cool Evenings
Even with warmer days, the nights are still crisp. I’ve been loving my Roasted Red Pepper & Tomato Soup—packed with flavor, and easy to make with a few veggies and pantry staples.
Whip up your favorite grilled cheese or sandwich to go with it.

3. Planting: Herbs, Flowers & Greens!
I’m giddy every year to get my garden going. Here’s what’s happening this week:
From starts: Spinach, thyme, chives (came back!), rosemary (also returning), and mint in its own pot (always a trooper). Greens and woody-stemmed herbs do great from starter plants.
From seeds: Dill, basil, cilantro, parsley, and some cheerful zinnias for the bees (and my soul). These plants need to be grown from seeds for the best results—transplanting starter plants from them almost never works.
Highly recommend growing your own herbs—even a small windowsill pot makes a difference. Most herb starts are around $2-$5 and will give you fresh herbs all season long (and depending on where you live, come back every year.)
4. Writing About: Blood Sugar Balance
This week I dove into the basics of blood sugar balance—what it is, why it matters, and how to support it naturally.
This topic comes up often in Clean Up Your Diet™, and it’s one of the most important aspects of long-term health and energy.

5. Planning: Content Creation, the Smart Way
I’m putting the finishing touches on a brand-new class that teaches how to multiply your content without burning out. It’s all about working smarter—not harder—as a content creator or expert in your field.
If you’ve been thinking about starting or growing your content-based business (or just want to streamline what you’re already doing), stay tuned. The Multiplier Method is coming soon 👀
Cheers!
